The people in darkness have seen a great light. For those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned. Matthew 4:16

Two millennia ago, in a field outside the holy city of Bethlehem, an angel of the Lord proclaimed the "good news of great joy that will be for all people...in the town of David a Savior has been born to you. He is Christ the Lord."

In the centuries since that history-changing nights, pilgrims have flocked to the little town of Bethlehem, the birthplace of the Savior. It is a sacred place evoking awe and wonder -- yet a place living in the shadow of conflict and extreme deprivation.

In this land where hope and despair are sisters, Bethlehem Bible College is training Palestinian Christians to lead the Church and be the light of Christ to their Muslim neighbors.

Biblical in outlook, the college accepts students from all denominations, and offers courses from an outstanding faculty, combining high academic standards with deep spiritual commitment to Christ. New students to the country are encouraged to participate in a program to learn about Arab culture, language, history and aspirations.

Graduates of Bethlehem Bible College have pursued various careers and have committed themselves to service of the people. These men and women work as teachers, pastors, counselors, youth directors, medical professionals and other positions. Many of them have gone on to obtain advanced degrees in order to better serve their communities. Our graduates embody the future Christian leaders of this land.
